The classic triple room I had was brand-new. The continental breakfast was plentiful and delicious with nice selections.

Its location was convenient and decent, in the' garden area', and in a nice quiet area. Also, amazing tourist places like Piazza Fiume were around 4-6 minutes away by foot from the hotel.

Staff is friendly, English speaking. We were given one key - there's a bundle on the bundle and a standard key to the door to the room, a key jumper to turn on the electricity in the room. air-conditioning was working fine, there were not enough TV channels, all of them were local. Internet works well in the room, if you need to print something - on the 1st floor in the waiting room has a printer. Breakfasts are served in the basement, there is coffee, tea, colbasa cheese, boiled eggs, fruit, muesli cereal with milk, juice, jam honey, delicious pastries. Anyway, it's very, decent for an Italian hotel.
No iron and ironing board. Road to the hotel: if you are planning your trip for the summer months, you should bear in mind that it takes at least 15 minutes to walk from Termini Station, bypassing the Thermal Museum Complex and Ministry Quarter. All this not only on asphalt, also on tiles and paving stones, under the hot southern sun. Anyway, you have to be ready. street Via Flavia is quite narrow, cars are parked wherever you can, sometimes right on a zebra. So it's a little fun to move around with your suitcases.

nice location:. not at the station, close to it (we were able to go to Florence and Venice for a day back and forth). respectively, all the main historical monuments are nearby (we walked to the Colosseum and Vatican). quiet district, no crowds of tourists. riad (100m) there is an excellent small shop "coop", where you can buy food (prosciutto + proseco = excellent dinner). If you go from the station that is a large supermarket CONAD in which everything you want (although in COOPe prices for chocolate were less). there are 2 pizzerias and 2 pastry shops in the neighborhoods. service is excellent: the towels were changed every day, afterwards less often, also changed. WIFI was working great. Wifi worked well, it was only on overnight. room was comfortable at a temperature of 3 degrees outside. There's a minibar that can be used as a fridge. There's a hair dryer, too. There are glasses for wine. Breakfast:. good, not a buffet, everything was very high quality: prosciutto, salami, hard cheeses, soft, two coffee machines, juice, fruit, various pastries. Eaten well. On the day when we had an early train to Venice, we had breakfast on the road (!!!
- the price,7 nights with breakfast for three cost 766 EUR + city tax=822 EUR (probably the price was higher due to the New Year's season). - no kettle and cups in the room to make tea in the evening, this option would be useful in winter. It is possible to ask for boiling water in the hotel bar on the ground floor (this was done once).

We liked everything, the hotel matches the description, photos and reviews. Clean, there are towels, soaps, a small room, but we are comfortably accommodated for two nights with two children 6 years old, 24-hour reception, later accommodation without problems, close to the center and waiting for the station.
I did not like only one thing (difficulties of translation, obviously): we arrived late, as our flight was delayed by the airline, I asked the reception where I could buy water for the children at this hour. nice young man at the reception said that the shops are already closed, water in the room is free (free). There was water in the minibar when we went in it.

We only stopped for one night to spend the night on the road from Rome to Perugia. That's why I chose it on foot from Termini. At first I was worried that Buckingham indicated that the reception is open until 23:00, and I had a situation after the booking that I could come later. I called Booking's help desk, they contacted the hotel and said that they would be waiting for me. Closer to the trip, just in case, I texted the hotel again. Got the answer that the reception was open 24 hours. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. He put all the info on the interpreter in his phone and let me listen in Russian. That's very nice of him!
No negativity. Or I just didn't get a chance to see him because I only stayed one night. So I liked it.

We stopped for 4 nights in mid-March. An atmospheric hotel in the Via Veneto area. It's a long way from the subway:( The nearest station is Barberini (although Repubblika is even closer, for some reason trains did not stop there). It was probably possible to get from the subway to the hotel by bus, we always walked. Within walking distance (about 15 minutes): Trevi Fountain, Galleria Borghese, Plaza Espana. room is normal, furniture is quite old, neat and clean, floor is parquet. In the bathroom - bath and bidet (accommodated in a triple room with one double bed and one single bed, windows overlook the courtyard). There is sound insulation between the rooms, from the corridor hear a huge (a couple of nights very loud behaved teenagers from neighboring rooms - it is in the corridor). contacting the hotel administrator on this issue, teacher was called, who eventually calmed down the teenagers. Staff is very friendly. breakfasts are good.
Very strong audibility from the corridor:((( Under the door of the room there is a slot, hence the inconvenience. Pillows are not very comfortable (high and quite hard). There were 2 mattresses on a double bed, not one, and they periodically "parted". There were no slippers in the room initially:(( We gave out 2 pairs (instead of 3) after addressing the reception. I would like them to be in the room immediately upon check-in and it would not be necessary to ask them:).

We had a pleasant stay for 2-3 nights with good results.
The staff was patient, the breakfast was delicious, everything was perfectly fine. The bed was comfortable, and the room itself was lovely. The location was comfortable and decent, for example, a late Medieval square was not too far from the hotel. Shopping malls and a bakery were right next door.

Our stay was comfy and enjoyable, especially with the cozy small double room and the lovely garden area to relax in. The location was perfect for unwinding after a long day. There were fun places to watch TV. Just a heads up, the shower could use a little upgrade, but it didn’t ruin our time at all! 😊

Hotel Medici was excellent value for money. The initial impression when you walk into the lobby is impressive, well maintained with lots of space to sit down and relax out the back or in by the bar. We had the quadruple room and it was very clean with plenty of fresh towels for all. The breakfast was ample and set us up for the day. I would revisit the hotel for sure. The staff were also helpful and pleasant.
The location was off the beaten track and the nearest metro was a good walk away which was fine during the day, but seemed too far at night to walk. I would recommend getting a taxi to/from sights because of this. Also we had hoped to get a drink in the bar with family after our busy night visiting the sights on foot but despite being residents this was not possible as the bar was closed which was a shame. But that being said it was excellent value for money and the staff were pleasant and the hotel was clean and nicely decorated.
